Mr. Kostiw has written articles and given presentations on topics such as Internet domain names as trademarks, photography and image rights, copyright pre-registration, new business formation, series limited-liability companies, financial securities law and SEC compliance, trademark law, copyright law, and obscenity laws.
In a non-legal capacity, Mr. Kostiw has been actively involved in the entertainment businesses and has been a voting member of the Recording Academy; the automotive business related to auto racing, repair and customization, his name was entered into the Honor Roll at the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan; and is also an active, often published, professional photographer in his spare time. Registering and using a domain name is easy, just be the first person to register it, or purchase the registration rights from someone else. As long as you pay your registration fee each year you can use the domain name as you wish, provided you are not breaking the law or infringing on another’s rights.
